The devs at Helldivers 2 have done a good job at mostly being consumer-friendly, so they could always add better armor designs in a future update. Fans might be a bit tired of the current armor designs, but the devs have earned their trust, so they should patiently wait for something else.
It will be interesting to see what kind of armor the devs can add to this shooter, since the material has to look like it comes from the same universe. Granted, gamers would be happy if more exaggerated armor gets added to the title, but there isn’t an immediate need for something like that.
Armor variety isn’t the biggest problem plaguing Helldivers 2, as the shooter still isn’t available in over 170 countries. Sony originally wanted to force PSN integration to the shooter but has since taken it back, though they are moving forward with this for their other games. Because of this, fans in these other countries won’t be able to play Helldivers 2, Ghost of Tsushima, and maybe even upcoming PS5 ports.
What makes this disappointing is that the shooter has sold a ton of copies, with the Sony-owned shooter quickly becoming the company’s fastest-selling game. Gamers everywhere are hoping that Sony will realize this is a bad move, but it looks like that won’t be happening anytime soon.
Helldivers 2 is readily available on PS5 and PC, but not for over 170 countries when it comes to the latter.
