There are three main ways to farm Medals. The first one is that you need to examine every nook and cranny of the missions. This way you'll find containers near buildings, behind rocks, in crevices, and other secret places. Drop ships are an even better option because they have a lot of loot and are easy to spot. The second way is to complete daily Personal Orders.
